I wanted to pass on my thanks to Riverwood Shutters. … I received the shutters (several days ahead of expectation) with no issues and had the shutters installed that evening. The installation process was extremely easy – install the frame in minutes, level, and then attach the shutters to the frame. Within an hour, everything was unpacked, moved to the correct room, installed and cleaned up. In short, I am a very happy customer and we will look to expand to other rooms as budget allows with Riverwood Shutters.

I placed an order for shutters for four windows in the front of my home. I previously paid an arm and a leg for shutters for the back of my home and was a little unsure about ordering online. The installation was a breeze and only took me about 45 minutes for all four windows. The appearance is twice as nice as the more expensive ones, and I get lots of compliments on them. Don’t hesitate to order from this company, they are extremely professional I would not think twice about ordering from them again.

Just wanted you to know that the shutters arrived in fine shape, they are installed and look wonderful. The quality is great ,the fit is perfect, the directions were good– just a few things we were confused about but mostly well explained. The pass by directions were a little difficult to make out but we succeeded. They really put a great finish on a room that needed lots of help. Maybe next year I will do another room. Installed the shutters last night. Look great and we are happy with how they turned out. Had a little issue due to our window not being that straight, just had to unscrew a few times and start over, but other than that, we will enjoy them for a long time…they really are top quality and clean very nice. I don’t think you will find anyone that is more “stand off-ish” than I am about ordering shutters on line. I don’t like to give out my credit card number and I was not at all sure of the quality of the shutters. I was wrong in both cases. I felt better when I was asked to give some further information about my credit card. That let me know that if my information was being used by someone else, there would have been little chance of success. The best part was the quality of the shutters. I compared them to shutters that cost almost double the Riverwood price from a well known chain hardware supply. I am a music teacher and if I can hang shutters, anybody can. I am glad that I discovered your web-site before I went elsewhere.

I received your shutters last evening and am pleasantly surprised at the quality of the units and how easy they are to install (Inside mount). The EZ strips really make the installation simple and quick and result in a professional appearance. My wife was concerned that the “faux wood” would look cheap and flimsy but her mind has been changed. I believe your shutters look BETTER then the wood and are very solid. Don’t hesitate to use us as a reference anytime.

We’ve had your 3.5″ vinyl plantation shutters in our home now for a year. Initially, I was very skeptical about purchasing vinyl shutters on the internet since I couldn’t go to a store and see a sample first hand. While checking for the best prices, I discovered manufacturers have different construction methods. I was especially disappointed with Hunter Douglas’ version of vinyl shutters as each louver had cheap looking end caps which created unsightly lines at each end. Since you had the lowest price of every internet site I’d searched, and because you advertised concealed louver caps, I decided to order one shutter for the smallest window, so I wouldn’t be out too much money if I hated it. I really love your product! The caps on the end are totally invisible whether the louvers are opened or closed. The internal structure of the panels is very sturdy, there’s no sagging. Parts fit together very beautifully, no gaps, clean lines. The finish looks like smooth painted wood! They were very easy to install. We’d bought the L-frame because our existing frames aren’t square and it was very easy to assemble. We bought more for the stairwell and they still look great, haven’t yellowed as advertised. All I need to do is vacuum the dust off. We paid 50% less than the wood composite shutters that Home Depot sells. And we definitely saved compared to your competitors vinyl product. It’s hard to believe you have the best prices and the best product, but I’m now a firmer believer! Additionally, your customer service is very friendly and competent. I’m back for more shutters and always recommend your product to anyone who’ll listen! Thanks a lot!

Writing to you to thank you for your telephone assistance while ordering our shutters and blinds. We are completely delighted with the natural color faux wood blinds and the ivory clearview shutters. Although it took me a while to handle the installation it was quite simple and both products look great. We would certainly select Riverwood for any future window treatment needs.

I found your site while looking for an outlet other than my local Home Depot to get shutters for a couple of windows. Your site is easy to navigate and well laid out.
After choosing the correct type of shutters and gathering the necessary careful measurements, I emailed my request. After a timely follow-up call and fax, I ordered the shutters on December 18. I was told that the factory was running about 2 weeks and that with the holidays fast approaching, I had no big expectation of a fast delivery.
Boy was I surprised! 10 days later the shutters were at my home. I had already received complete assembly instructions, so I was ready to get to work. Well, 2 hours later the shutters were in and I was THE MAN with my wife.
I wanted to write and let you know that I was able to order and receive my shutters from your company faster than I could get someone from my local Home Depot to come out and measure my windows, and I saved about $200!
